Sammy and Cole
We're looking to adopt a baby
Hi, we’re Cole and Sammy! We are appreciative and honored that you are taking the time to learn more about us! We understand that the decision you are considering is very heavy, but it is one filled with incredible courage, selflessness, and abundant love.
We were introduced in 2014 at a Christian retreat at Texas A&M. We spoke briefly, and while we didn’t stay connected, we always waved or said hi when passing each other on campus. Over a year later, Cole mentioned to a friend that he would like to date this girl named Sammy, and the friend passed along her information. Cole showed up on Sammy’s doorstep to ask her on a date. We connected instantly, and our relationship grew quickly from there! We married in 2018, and have grown to be more in love with each other in each new stage of our lives.
We have always been eager to become parents. Adoption was in the back of our minds when pregnancy posed some potential health risks for us. When those were resolved and we were able to try to have a baby, we struggled with infertility and the grief that goes along with it for a few years. A lot of time was spent in prayer asking the Lord what to do, and we heard Him clearly tell us to adopt. After obediently saying “YES!” to God's plan for adoption, our hearts were filled with peace and excitement. We are grateful for the bravery and loving choice that will allow us to grow our family through adoption. We cannot wait to share this incredible story of love with a child!
